Volunteer: Cans for Critters Collection and Cash InVolunteers collect the aluminum cans at the shelter that have been donated and take them to the recycling center where the shelter can cash in on those cans! This tasks requires volunteers to ensure the cans are crushed, then loaded in the vehicle, then driven over to the recycling center. Volunteer: Driving Ms. Shelter PetsTrained volunteers drive cats and dogs to various vet appointments when necessary. Some vet appointments are local and some may be in Columbia, Charleston, Myrtle Beach, etc. It depends on where we are able to schedule in our shelter animals for available opening of spay and neuter. If you are able to spare some time throughout the week and shuttle some furbabies to their appointments, we would love to have join our team! Volunteers must have a valid driver's license and able to provide a 10-year driving record (this does not mean you have to had your license for 10 years).
